“My husband Jace and I planned our wedding all by ourselves... madness. Actually it was pretty fun. It became challenging though when we started thinking about music. The music was very important to us and we wanted to get it right. We knew it was an essential part of the wedding and so important in setting the tone for the evening. People just want to cut loose at a wedding, especially our family and friends and honestly, so did we.
We chose our venue in part because of its amazing dance floor potential. So the pressure was on. Jace knew Coops (DJ Relaxative) and we had both seen him DJ. We sat down with Coops to learn more about him and to let him know the type of music we liked. From our conversation we could see that he has a real passion for great music and creating a fun time for people. We both walked away confident that he was a man that we could entrust our big day to.
On the day Coops was so helpful. He took control of all our sound needs all day and night, including the ceremony music which was very important to us. The sound on the day was flawless and a huge part of its success.
At every wedding you’re going to get requests, people jumping on the mic, etc. and he handled it with such professionalism. God it was fun. Our guests danced all night and could not stop raving about it. Some of our favourite photos of the night are from the dance floor. It is so clear how much people were enjoying themselves thanks to the music.
